ALASKA the last frontier

So its off to Alaska with me!!
In my family they have always referred to me as the crazy adventurous one, & I am striving to live up to my name. I moved to New York by myself then lived in Philadelphia for quite some time and have taken many many road trips that give me tremendous memories!

Well now its driving 3,000 miles up north through Canada onward to Alaska with nuggy, I was able to get a job lined up with Alaska Interstate Construction, & am so stoked to start working with the company! I can't believe how excited I am to start a life in Alaska! Its off to Anchorage for a month then when summer hits fly into King Cove which is on the Alaskan peninsula for about 7 months! I will miss my family dearly, but am so grateful for their full support & love. I am so excited for them to all come & visit! My father speaks Navajo also know as Diné when he comes up to visit he will be able to speak the language, athabaskan also known as Dene with Alaskan Natives. This will truly be a site to see & I wish I would have learned Navajo growing up, but I guess now is a great opportunity to learn!

Well here is what I will miss most about my home.....

My babies!! Who knows how I'll survive without them!
I spent the night in Provo one night & we had such a fun sleepover! Momo insisted that I sleep in their room on the pull out couch, we talked about the pull out couch for 20 minutes because he was so excited! Then the next night we had an absolute blast! We set up their dining table & I had the boys karate chopping the styrofoam with their hands & breaking it in half with their head. They just thought it was the coolest thing, we made such a mess!
This video is the next morning after we spent the night, Didi wouldn't take his hood off it was pretty adorable!

I will miss seeing my family often! We are such a close family & these past few months I haven't been able to see them because of my job. My work didn't allow me anytime off the weekends or most holidays so I missed out on quite a few gatherings :( But I can't wait for them to come visit!

I will miss my sisters dearly!!! They are both pregnant & I can't believe I'm missing out on being there!!!!! They are my best friends & it gets hard for us to spend time away from eachother.

My brothers are also my best friends, its going to be such a hard thing to be away from them. I am so stoked for them to come up and visit so we can have unforgettable adventures!!!!! I am going to miss my ROOSTER'S!!!!!!! I can not survive without this place! Me Brooke & Keith are going to be headed straight here for rooster wings when I get back to visit!!!!!! And I will definitely be giving everyone at the No Name a visit! I loved living in Park City! It will be hard adjusting to live anywhere else! And I will miss KIMMY!!!! This chickadee is my best friend in the whole world & times will be tough without her. She is the best person in this world & such a great role model!! Get yourself up here to visit little lady!!

I LOVE the Townsend's!!! This is the greatest couple in the world! I have spent lots of time with them in Park City, we have so many amazing PC memories!! Christy is so full of life, loving, & just absolutely wonderful! Clark is hilarious & just such a down to earth person with such great values! I have come to love them & it will be difficult to find friends as superb as them! The E-wards!!!! This man will truly be missed!!! I sincerely hope he changes his mind & comes to join in Alaska! We had so much fun together all the time!! He was always down for anything & was such a true loyal friend. He was always there to help out with home repairs, join in for adventurous times, & always making me laugh! MISS you E!!!!!

Miss being buried in all the snow in the cabin! Although it was the worst thing in the world moving out of here in all this snow!!!! What a nightmare! Duschene Ridge, will always be my most favorite spot. This place is truly my heaven on earth. Gil & Lori Workman, what an amazing couple!!! I have come to love these two so dearly. They have a cabin just above mine & I spent as much time with them as I could! They were always so gracious to have me over for dinner & lots of wine! Never a dull moment with these two!! I love them both & will miss them!!
Well there is lots more that I will miss, but I must say I am truly excited to start a new life in Alaska! I am so thankful my parents gave me the best life in Utah & I will never forget where I came from!
