I have officially moved to King Cove! Tucker & I flew to King Cove on Tuesday & it was such a gorgeous day to fly! Clear blue skies, not too windy & what a wonderful view. I was a little nervous to fly by myself with Tucker & be in King Cove by myself, but everything worked out great! I let Tuck out when he & I arrived to Cold Bay so that he & I could make a flight change and load my luggage & his crate onto the next flight to King Cove. They told me it was ok to let him out in the airport & Tuck made his rounds to all the people & said HI, everyone loved him! He was a big hit at the airport, they all couldn't believe how beautiful he was & one guy at the airport took a photo of him & said he was going to hang it up at the airport, ha so silly.

The photo below is our plane to King Cove, when they told me I thought "You got to be kidding me! Don't you know how many bags of luggage I took! And the fact that I have a dog with me! Geez I could fill that plane just by myself, hope they don't have to make two trips!"

Ha but luckily everything fit just fine. I met these two girls around my age who were awesome & just visiting a friend in King Cove it was quite fun enjoying the adventure with someone else, later that night even they invited me over for salmon & halibut and of course a few cocktails it was such a great treat!

Here is looking from Cold Bay towards King Cove

I was able to get front seat, what an adventure this flight was! I will never forget this experience in all my life!

This peak is looking from Cold Bay in the opposite direction of King Cove. CB is surrounded by mountains its such a beautiful town!

Flying over the water to get to King Cove

The mountain tops of King Cove

It was such a gorgeous site to see! I only took photos with my camera phone so the photos seem a little dull because the sun was so bright

Here was a better clearer shot, but I wasn't able to get the propellers out of the shot

Those mountains on the right is King Cove

At the base of the mountains is the road to the city of King Cove. At the bottom left you can see a huge water tank that says 'Welcome to King Cove' & at the bottom of the mountains on the right is the city of King Cove

WELCOME TO KING COVE! .....home sweet home :]

Tucker was so excited to be at his new home! He was going crazy in Jim's truck(the superintendent on the job), it is about a 3 mile ride from the airport. Jim gave me a tour around the town before he took me home so Tucker was getting really anxious in the car

Here is the sun setting at the south end of King Cove

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!

It was my parents 27th anniversary yesterday! Congratulations mom & dad :] Imeant to write this yesterday but being in the middle of a move it was delayed till today. Anyways I just wanted to express to my parents how proud I am to be their daughter & also the pride I take in them sticking together, raising us right, & always being the finest parents around! I love them with all my heart & miss them like crazy! They are two of the hardest working individuals I know, I will always love my mother for giving me so many wonderful memories as a little girl. She would always play games with us, chase us around the house, make the most wonderful dinners, dress us girls up in the most beautiful dresses that she made herself, & even take my friends & I toilet papering the neighbors house ;] haha

My mamma is so full of life, love, & laughter. She is as sweet as can be, with the biggest heart known to mankind. My mother always makes me laugh, makes me proud, & raised me into who I am today. She will always have such a special place in my heart.

My Father, "Geez what a man!" getting blessed with three little girls right off the bat must have been tough! But he has always seemed to have done it with ease, he has been doing a spectacular job at raising five children. It has been such an honor to have a father such as mine, I hold only the highest respects for him & the life he has lived gives me great gratification. The lord truly blessed me with the greatest father in the world.

I love you mom & dad

Happy Anniversary!
